What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Charlie (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

RTÉ’s much-hyped Charlie Haughey drama will finally air tonight – Aiden Gillen plays the controversial former Taoiseach, while King Nidge (or Tom Vaughan-Lawlor as he’s called at home) will play publicist PJ Mara. The series starts with Haughey as the Minister for Health in 1979, as he succeeds in his bid to become Taoiseach. A must-watch. #charlie

The Voice of Ireland (RTÉ One, 6.30pm)

This is the VOICE! Of IREE-LAAAAND! It’s back again for a baffling fourth series, with new presenters Rachel Stevens and Una Foden (of S Club 7 and The Saturdays respectively) will replace Jamelia and Dolores O’Riordan on the judging panel. Will 2015′s winner be the one that finally goes down in the annals of history? Erm… #rtethevoice

Reinventing the Royals (BBC2, 9pm)

Presented by Steve Hewlett, this two part series will explore the 20-year battle between the royal family and the media. Tonight’s episode will deal with the death of Princess Diana – rumour has it that the original airing was postponed after Prince Charles threw a hissy fit. Oooh. #reinventingtheroyals
